Day 5

I left Fernie and made my way to Eureka MT. Again more incredible views of British Columbia. There was a Canadian Tire (a Wal-Mart of sorts) in town so I picked up my much needed fuel for my stove. Along the way I met some guys that were doing the same trip from Banff to Mexico. We figured out that we were both from Minnesota and they had just graduated from Bethel of all places. Small world eh... I rode with them for a little ways, but they had a little more agressive schedule then I. They planned on doing the route in about 45 - 50 days. I got a free campsite in Eureka that I shared with some homeless guys and highschool kids cranking up their car steroes. I found a laundromat this morning and while I'm waiting for my clothes was able to log on. My favorite sign in the laundromat is, "Absolutely no hides in the machines." Probably won't see that one in Minneapolis. After I get done here it is up the mountains again to Whitefish Divide.

  1. Interesting notice. Maybe it means something different in English English then in American I don't know but I thought it was funny.
    What is Bethel?
