I made it to Fernie no problem, and I got yet another motel. Not so much because I was tired, but because it was such a cool town. I went over to a little place called Rip & Richards eatery and had a couple beers. I talked to some cool people. Tammy and Mike were working in the town for the summer. I asked them what they were doing and he said just living... He was a white water raft guide and she was a bartender/server/horse guide. They thought my trip sounded pretty cool and wished me well. We will see what I experience later on in the trip, but so far Fernie BC has been my favorite. So far British Columbia has been gorgeous.
