It was a short ride today. 37 miles to Silver City. Not a very interesting day at all today. Finished up what hopefully will be the last of the hills. Made some calls when I got to Silver City and lined up my return trip, and called it a day. No, I will not make 60 days. The timeline doesn't matter to me at all. It has been an incredible trip so far, and just two days left.
Very cool. Ted and I just checked in on you for the first time since you were in S Wyoming. Looks like you did it. Congratulations. I imagine that you'll be blasting out of NM but if you find yourself in Albuquerque you've got a place to stay with a bed, modern plumbing and electricity.

ReplyDeleteAndy and Ted. Thanks for the offer. I thought of you guys when I got my flat tires around Pie Town. When I got my tubes I was going to get Armadillo tube, but the guys talked me into slime filled tubes. I don't know which would have been better, but I didn't get any more flats.
