I did a few errands in Steamboat Springs so I got on the road a little late. Picked up some food from the parents at the P.O., had my bike looked at, and updated the old blog, so it was about 12:30 before I was on the road. So in about an hour a storm rolled through. It started to lightning a little bit, and that really gives me the willy's. So I pulled off the road and asked a horse lady if I could wait out the storm in her barn. I helped her with some hay she was unloading and helped her hook up her trailer. She turned out to really love her horses. I guess she even lived in her barn. So after about an hour I got back on the road. I got to do a tiny bit of singletrack which is always fun. Scenery was great, and I got to a decent campsite at the top of the mountain.
